Your child has probably already received a blue Communications Folder. This will go back and forth between home and school each day. All adults wishing to enter the school during regular school hours - for the purpose of volunteering or otherwise - must be "approved volunteers". To be approved, you must undergo a background check every three years and then present your legal ID at the front desk upon arrival. To apply for volunteer clearance, please complete the School Access Form.

The Otter Raft Program, through our PTO, will connect you with a veteran Otter parent who is just a text message away. This parent can answer simple questions, provide information about upcoming events, and share how you can get involved at the school. This is a great resource for new families navigating OPE!

Click the link above to set up your student's lunch account online. Cash or check can be sent with your student and delivered to the cafeteria at lunchtime.

HAC is your home for student-specific information such as progress reports, report cards, bus route information, and more. Create your account using the email address used to register your student with Ocean Palms Elementary. If you run into any problems with this, call the OPE front office at (904) 547-3760 to request assistance.

Each student at OPE is encouraged to purchase a class shirt. Class shirts are worn on a variety of occasions including Otter Run, Field Day and field trips. Every Friday is Spirit Day - while you are shopping for your class shirt, pick up some Otter Merch for the whole family! All items are shipped directly to your home.
